One Nation Exchange

One Nation Exchange grew out of a six-week collaborative art project between Indigenous and newcomer women at a mother and child drop-in in Winnipeg’s North End. The One Nation emblem that resulted resonated so much with the community that the group began to make textile products and training the women to sew them. 100% of the proceeds from their sales go back into the community through free drop-in and training programs. Indigenous and newcomer women meet their neighbours, practice English (if applicable), learn employable skills and earn supplementary income upon the sale of the products they make.
